NorMinRIPE is the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee in Region 10 (RRDIC-10) program, approved by the Regional Development Council-X. It celebrates National Innovation Day, which is declared as a special working public holiday on April 21 to promote and highlight innovation initiatives nationwide
The three-day event has several objectives, including spreading awareness of the National Innovation Agenda and Strategy Document (NIASD) among Region 10 stakeholders, identifying existing innovation policies and programs, forging partnerships among government agencies, institutions, financiers, and private agencies and companies, empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and igniting curiosity, creativity, and competitiveness among the youth
The National Economic and Development Authority-10 (NEDA-10) is the lead convenor of NorMinRIPE 2024. The co-convenors include the Department of Science and Technology-10 (DOST-10), the Department of Trade and Industry-10 (DTI-10), and the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc.
